(May 31, 2018) — UTSA’s nonconference road games at Arizona State and Kansas State have been selected for television broadcasts by FOX Sports.

The Roadrunners’ season opener at Arizona State on Saturday, Sept. 1, will air nationally on FOX Sports 1 (FS1) with a 9:30 p.m. CT kickoff at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Ariz.
FOX Sports Networks will televise the UTSA matchup with K-State at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan, Kan.
UTSA will face both teams for the second time in program history. Arizona State rallied for a 32-28 win against the Roadrunners in the first meeting on Sept. 16, 2016, at the Alamodome. Kansas State scored a 30-3 victory in the inaugural matchup on Sept. 12, 2015, in San Antonio.
These are the first two TV selections and game times to be announced for UTSA’s upcoming season. Additional TV designations and times are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Additionally, CBS Sports Network announced Thursday that it will televise the Conference USA Championship Game on Saturday, Dec. 1. The annual matchup pitting the East and West Division champions will be hosted by the team with the best winning percentage in league games at a time to be determined.
Led by third-year head coach Frank Wilson, the Roadrunners will host Baylor in their home opener on Sept. 8 at the Alamodome. Other home contests include the H-E-B I-35 Showdown against Texas State on Sept. 22, the Conference USA opener versus UTEP on Sept. 29, the annual Homecoming Game against Louisiana Tech on Oct. 13, FIU on Nov. 10 and North Texas on Nov. 24.
