(March 27, 2019) — UTSA is hitting the road in March and April for Rowdy’s Roadshow, a road trip tour that will take place in major cities across Texas. The tour kicks off on Saturday, March 30 in Houston, followed by Dallas-Fort Worth on March 31. The Roadshow continues on April 2 in the Rio Grande Valley before concluding in San Antonio with the Roadshow Finale at UTSA Day on April 6.
At every Roadshow event, there will be free food and drinks, swag and music along with a chance to win one of two $500 UTSA scholarships.
Rowdy’s Roadshow is an opportunity for Future Roadrunners and their families to gain valuable information on admissions, financial aid, academic programs, student life and campus services. Participants will also be able to meet with other UTSA students, such as Mr. and Ms. UTSA and Top Scholars, and begin their Rowdy Ready journey by signing up for Orientation.
Rowdy’s Roadshow will include a welcome by university leadership, a resource fair and a variety of information sessions.
“Rowdy’s Roadshow is a phenomenal opportunity for Future Roadrunners and their families to experience all that UTSA has to offer,” said Beverly Woodson Day, UTSA interim assistant vice president for Strategic Enrollment. “Whether it’s getting answers to their admissions questions, signing up for Orientation or connecting with members of the UTSA community, the Roadshow will put them on the path to becoming a part of Roadrunner Nation.”
