(April 19, 2019) — The ninth annual UTSA Football Fiesta Spring Game will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at Dub Farris Athletic Complex (8400 North Loop 1604 W).

Admission and parking are free and gates to the stadium will open at noon. Fans are asked to enter the facility through the northwest gate and fill the west side of the stadium first.

Free family-friendly events such as face painting and inflatables will be located near the northwest entrance to the facility beginning at 11:30 a.m., and there will be a photo opportunity with El Rey Fido from noon to 12:30 p.m.

Fiesta Royalty will present the official game ball during pregame. There will be a senior ceremony at halftime and team awards presentation after the game on the field.

An Easter egg hunt for children and an autograph session with UTSA football players will be held on the field following the conclusion of the game, and a public address announcement will be made when fans are allowed to enter the field.

Fans can buy the latest UTSA apparel and accessories from Rowdy Campus Store, which will be set up near the northwest side of the facility. Fans also are encouraged to pick up a free autograph card upon entrance to the stadium.

Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar will have a limited food menu and beverages available for purchase (cash and credit cards accepted) at the concession stand inside the stadium. Fans also may bring their own bottled water into the facility.

Tailgating will open at 11:30 a.m. and is restricted to non-alcoholic beverages. No heating elements will be allowed in the parking lots.

The UTSA football season ticket renewal deadline is April 23. The UTSA Ticket Sales Team will be on site to assist anyone who would like to renew or purchase new season tickets.

The UTSA roster will be split into two teams — Blue and White — for the game, which will use a traditional scoring system and will mark the conclusion of the Roadrunners’ spring season of 15 workouts.

Fans can listen to a live broadcast of the game beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Ticket 760 AM in the San Antonio area, online and via the free iHeartRadio app. Andy Everett (play-by-play), Jay Riley (analyst) and Pat Evans (sideline reporter) will call all the action.

A special edition of The Frank Wilson Show is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, at Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar (11075 IH-10 W) and the hour-long show will air live on Ticket 760 AM, online and via the free iHeartRadio app.
