Nov. 18, 2019 — Campus Services is teaming up with the UTSA VOICES volunteer group and the Elf Louise Christmas Project to deliver holiday cheer and make a difference in the San Antonio community.
Got a UTSA parking citation? Visit Campus Services to donate new, nonviolent toys valued at $5 or more in exchange for 50% off one outstanding eligible parking citation. Valid for citations up to $100 in original value. Donation without citations are welcome and encouraged.
At the end of the campaign Campus Services will deliver all donations to the Elf Louise Christmas Project for distribution to families in the Greater San Antonio area.
The Elf Louise Christmas Project is a grassroots organization run entirely by volunteers that has been dedicated since 1969 to giving back to the community. Since its inception the organization has delivered over 1 million toys to children in the Greater San Antonio area.

Last year the UTSA community donated 172 toys and saved over $4,000 in citation fees. This year Campus Services hopes to make an even bigger impact.
To encourage donations without citations, Toys for Tickets will include a Stuff the Bus event on Nov. 20 and 21 to collect toys. From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, The Runner bus service will be parked in the HSU parking lot, located by the H-E-B Student Union and the Ximenes Avenue Garage. Stop by to donate a toy and help stuff the bus.
In addition to giving back Toys for Tickets helps Campus Services educate the campus community on parking rules and regulations while providing financial leniency at a key time of year. With registration underway and the holidays approaching, Toys for Tickets offers opportunities to pay past citations while making a difference to local families in need.
