MARCH 3, 2020 — UTSA Athletics will host several Conference USA Mental Health Awareness “Green Out” events during the month of March as part of the league’s ongoing initiative.
All UTSA student-athletes will wear green shoelaces during the “Green Out” events, while coaches and staff will wear green wristbands.
Launched during the 2019–2020 academic year, the “Green Out” initiative is a collaboration between Conference USA and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at each member institution. Together they created “Green Out” games in support of mental health awareness. C-USA encourages all to stand up to the stigma and continue the conversation, including using the hashtag #ContinueTheConversation on social media.
