MARCH 1, 2021 — UTSA will continue to offer ISD Saturdays throughout the spring semester starting on Saturday, March 6. These one-hour virtual events introduce interested local high school students to UTSA, provide a connection to their local UTSA admissions counselors, and showcase why UTSA is a university of choice.

Last fall, the university launched ISD Saturdays to support local high school students and their families as they make the transition into higher education. Students and families were able to hear from UTSA admissions counselors, connect with current students, and make sure they were on track to complete their UTSA admissions checklist.

Students who attend the spring ISD Saturday events will hear from university experts and student leaders on topics ranging from access and affordability, how to immerse themselves in Roadrunner Nation, and the necessary steps for admission.

“There are so many talented students in San Antonio,” said Lynn Barnes, senior vice provost for strategic enrollment. “UTSA is here to provide opportunities for them to attend an exceptional university close to home that will give them an affordable and quality education.”

The following topics will be covered at upcoming ISD Saturday events:

  • March 6: Access & Affordability
  • March 27: Get Rowdy & Experience Roadrunner Nation
  • May 1: Navigating UTSA—Completing Your Enrollment Checklist
