MAY 13, 2022 — The UTSA Department of Intercollegiate Athletics honored 53 spring and summer student-athlete graduates in a ceremony earlier today.
“We’re extremely proud and honored to celebrate our spring and summer graduates,” UTSA Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Lisa Campos said. “Earning a college degree requires responsibility, dedication and perseverance, and each of these student-athletes has worked diligently toward achieving this goal. These graduates are leaders and ambassadors of UTSA who are prepared to contribute to the world ahead of them.”
The 53 spring/summer student-athletes who crossed the stage today have already shown their ability to impact the campus and their community.

The UTSA Department of Intercollegiate Athletics honored 53 spring and summer student-athlete graduates in a ceremony on Friday, May 13.
Between these individuals, there are:
- 110 C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll selections
- 33 C-USA Commissioner’s Academic Medals
- 5 Academic All-Americans or national scholar award winners
- 4 Academic All-District honorees
- 1 C-USA Scholar Athlete of the Year
- 6 C-USA All-Academic Team selections
- 40 All-Conference USA selections
- 3 Conference USA team championships
- 1,638 combined hours of community service
UTSA also will celebrate its graduates with several ceremonies. Commencement Drive will take place at 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 13, on the Main Campus. Commencement ceremonies will be held at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, at the Alamodome.
