UTSA has announced the times for its spring 2023 Commencement ceremonies. In this defining moment of their academic journeys, more than 3,500 UTSA students will be eligible to receive their degrees in one of two ceremonies scheduled on Saturday, May 20, at the Alamodome.
UTSA’s first Commencement ceremony will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday to honor graduates from the College for Health, Community and Policy, College of Education and Human Development, College of Sciences and University College.
The second Commencement ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday for graduates of the Carlos Alvarez College of Business, Margie and Bill Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design and College of Liberal and Fine Arts.

The Doctoral Hooding Ceremony will take place for doctoral graduates at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, in the H-E-B Student Union Ballrooms (HSU 1.104). Doctoral graduates are also welcome to attend the Alamodome ceremony for their academic college on Saturday, but the hooding process will occur only at the Wednesday ceremony.
