MAY 8, 2023 — UTSA will establish new contracts for campus custodial and grounds services beginning June 1. AHI Facility Services Inc. (AHI) will oversee custodial responsibilities while Yellowstone Landscape (Yellowstone) will oversee grounds. Services are expected to transition smoothly, with no interruption or change to the campus experience for faculty, staff or students.

Through these contracts, UTSA will continue its focus on supporting the beauty and functionality of its campuses. Services provided by AHI and Yellowstone are vital to creating and maintaining clean, engaging spaces while also ensuring daily operations run efficiently and effectively.

UTSA issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) before selecting AHI and Yellowstone as the new vendors. After careful review and evaluation, these companies were determined to best meet the needs of the growing university.

AHI is a women-owned company that takes great pride in intentionally fostering the professional growth of their employees. It has offered facility services since 1968 and currently provides custodial services for The University of Texas System at its UT Arlington, UT Dallas and the MD Anderson Cancer Center campuses. AHI’s local customers include USAA and Boeing.
