The UTSA Roadrunners are making their fourth straight and fifth overall bowl appearance — facing Marshall University’s Thundering Herd in tonight’s Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. at Toyota Stadium and the game will be televised nationally on ESPN.

Fans can also cheer on the Roadrunners at the Bowl Game Viewing Party, presented by Little Woodrow’s. The party will be held at Little Woodrow’s Braun. “The game will be on the TVs and the sound will be up,” as UTSA Athletics describes the event on its bowl website. Patrons can enjoy Bud Light drink specials and free UTSA/Little Woodrow’s koozies. Members of the Alumni Association and the Roadrunner Athletic Fund will also be in attendance to offer more prizes and giveaways.
The game will air on ESPN and ESPN Deportes and on the ESPN+ streaming service. The UTSA radio broadcast will air live on Sports Radio AM 760 The Ticket in the San Antonio area. Bowl Season Radio will provide a national broadcast of the game, which can be heard on SiriusXM 84.
This year’s Frisco Bowl marks the fourth matchup between the Roadrunners and the Thundering Herd — having met three times previously when both were members of Conference USA. Marshall leads the overall series 2-1.
Under the direction of fourth-year head coach Jeff Traylor, the Roadrunners enter the Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl with an 8-4 overall record in 2023 after finishing in third place in their debut campaign in the American Athletic Conference with a 7-1 conference mark.
Marshall, a member of the Sun Belt Conference, is bowl-eligible for the seventh consecutive year after posting a 6-6 record this season under the direction of head coach Charles Huff.
