Students can take advantage of drop-in hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. the day before each expo to visit with a career consultant, ask questions, and obtain feedback about their resume. Visit the UCC event page for more information.
To increase their chances of success at the career expos, students and alumni who plan to attend should:
- Research the companies that will be attending the STEM and All Majors career expos.
- Review this professional networking checklist for networking best practices.
- Share a resume that is in great shape. Use these resume samples and VMock to optimize resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and elevator pitches.
- Visit the Iris Booth to take a professional headshot.
- Dress appropriately. The dress code for the expos is business casual.
