OCTOBER 15, 2024 — As part of its ongoing celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, UTSA Today is taking a look at some of the unique artistic expressions on campus that celebrate the tradition and richness of this culture.
The works are spread out over various points on the UTSA Main Campus. Take a walk to the second floor of the John Peace Library (JPL 2.01.01), for example, to see the portrait of renowned wrestler El Santo.
The third floor of the Main Building (MB 3.112) is home to a portrait of artist Frida Kahlo, who continues to inspire people today.
Below is more information about some of the unique art located on the Main Campus. All images are courtesy of The UTSA Art Collection.
