JUNE 26, 2025 — The UTSA Center for Public Opinion Research (CPOR) is launching an opportunity for researchers and organizations to add questions to its new Bexar County Omnibus Survey.

The survey can be used to gain local insights from as many as 3,000 Bexar County/San Antonio residents who are part of CPOR’s Bexar County Panel. Questions could additionally serve as a way to pilot test survey questions or conduct longitudinal studies using the panel.

Here’s what to know:

About the Bexar County Panel

  • 3,000 adult residents (18+)
  • Recruited via Random Digit Dialing (RDD), Registration-Based Sampling (RBS), and soon, Address-Based Sampling (ABS)
  • Anticipated response count: 1,000–1,500
  • High-quality responses: Previous pilot had a 57% response rate and 95% completion rate

Survey Space and Cost

  • Purchased space on the Omnibus Survey is $500 per question.
  • UTSA researchers receive a discounted rate of $250 per question.
  • Simple survey experiments (randomization across two groups) can be included for an additional $25 programming fee.
  • One free question spot will be awarded to a UTSA graduate student, based on the quality and importance of the proposed question.
