UTSA student-athletes turned in one of the best semesters in the classroom on record during fall 2020, setting six department records for academic success.
The average team GPA for UTSA currently stands at a 3.24, the highest in department history.
Additionally, 12 teams achieved a 3.0 or better fall semester GPA, and 14 teams currently maintain a GPA of at least 3.0, marks that also are the best in school history.
Of UTSA’s more than 350 student-athletes, a record 58.1% currently maintain a 3.0-plus GPA, while the same percentage achieved a fall semester GPA of 3.0 or better.
During the fall semester a department-best 39 student-athletes logged a perfect 4.0 GPA, while 34.5% of student-athletes were named to the President’s List, Dean’s List or Honor Roll, also a school record.
