(May 1, 2018) – UTSA is kicking off a Texas road trip to meet future students, UTSA alumni and friends. President Taylor Eighmy, Admissions and Alumni Association staff, Athletics Director Lisa Campos and several head coaches will bring the UTSA experience to cities throughout the state.
Rowdy’s Roadshow makes its first stop on May 5 in Houston then goes to Dallas-Fort Worth on May 6. It heads back south on May 8 to the Rio Grande Valley before returning to San Antonio on May 14. Admission is free but advanced registration is recommended.

Future Roadrunners and their families will get valuable information about admissions, orientation and financial aid opportunities at each Rowdy’s Roadshow. The agenda includes a browsing fair, faculty-led student panel, a coaches panel and an overview of the vision for UTSA from President Eighmy. Guests will also enjoy food and drinks, a photo booth and music.
Campos and UTSA coaches will get the crowd excited for the upcoming 2018-2019 athletic seasons. UTSA sports fans will also have a chance to purchase tickets and get game information. UTSA alumni can show their Roadrunner pride by signing up for the UTSA Alumni Association.
“Rowdy’s Roadshow is an awesome opportunity for admitted students and their families to take the first step of becoming a Roadrunner and experiencing what UTSA has to offer,” said Beverly Woodson Day, UTSA interim assistant vice president for strategic enrollment and director of undergraduate admissions. “Whether it is getting those last minute questions answered, signing up for Orientation or interacting with UTSA alumni, students and staff; the Roadshow will prepare them to become a part of Roadrunner Nation.”
