The C-SPAN Bus travels to communities nationwide to encourage the public to get involved in the political process. The bus features HDTVs, touch-screen tablets, a 360° video station and an operational production studio to teach visitors about C-SPAN’s extensive library of public affairs programming, which includes 250,000 hours of searchable video going back to 1979, and its free, non-partisan resources. It will also offer visitors an opportunity to take interactive quizzes to test their knowledge of the political process. Bus visitors will be invited to share their thoughts on what it means to be an American for C-SPAN’s “Voices from the Road” project.

In addition to stopping in San Antonio, the bus is scheduled to visit Killeen, Round Rock, Waco, Abilene, Lubbock, Midland and Odessa before leaving Texas for Tucson, Ariz.
