(July 30, 2019) — For the third year in a row, Eduniversal, a Paris-based global ranking agency specializing in higher education, has recognized three master’s programs at UTSA among the best offered in the world.
Eduniversal, a widely respected source for national/international rankings in higher education, analyzed more than 20,000 Masters and M.B.A programs to build its 2019 rankings. From that group, Eduniversal ranked 5,360 academic programs from 886 different institutions in 136 countries.
The 2019 Best Master’s and MBA Ranking included two programs from the UTSA College of Business (COB) and one from the UTSA College of Liberal and Fine Arts (COLFA). The M.S. in Business was ranked No. 36 in the General Management for North America. The M.S. for Finance with a Real Estate Concentration was ranked No. 46 among academic programs in real estate and wealth management worldwide.
The Master of Arts in Communication was ranked No. 23 in the Corporate Communication category among programs in North America.
All three UTSA master’s programs scored high under Eduniversal’s three main criteria:
- The notoriety of the programs with recruiting companies
- The salary graduates earn in their first jobs following graduation
- Student satisfaction

UTSA also ranked among the nation’s top six young universities according to Times Higher Education. This ranking was based on UTSA’s performance in research, citations, teaching, international outlook and industry income.
