(Aug. 28, 2019) — ‘Runners, you’ve made it halfway through the week. Today’s Roadrunner Days line-up includes lots of fun and valuable information as part of the campus life experience.

This year, UTSA welcomes new freshman and transfer students to Roadrunner Nation during the 16-day celebration. They will take part in time-honored UTSA traditions, learn about valuable UTSA resources, meet new friends and make memories that will last a lifetime, all important foundations to enhance the exceptional student experience UTSA fosters.
Here’s what’s going on during Roadrunner Days today:
Howdy Rowdy Bash Ticket and T-Shirt Pick up
8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Student Union Paseo, Main Campus
Students who purchased a ticket to Howdy Rowdy Bash can pick up their ticket and a t-shirt. Make sure you bring your UTSA ID.
Game Week Wednesday
11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Central Plaza, Main Campus
Join Rowdy Crew for this mid-week gathering to gear up for this weekend’s game. Learn how to be a part of the full game day experience and meet student-athletes while enjoying games, giveways, snacks and tons of fun.
Union Success Hour
11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Student Union Window Lounge, Main Campus
Swing by the Student Union to get tips and essentials to assure a successful year at UTSA.
Open House (and BBQ): College of Engineering (COE)
11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Biosciences Building Atrium, Main Campus
UTSA engineering students are invited to come by and enjoy free food and drink, while meeting representatives from student organizations and engineering departments. Earn a COE T-shirt by talking with at least one department representative and three student organization representatives.
Business and Burgers: College of Business Open House
4 p.m. to 6 p.m., H-E-B Student Union Ballrooms (HSU 1.104/1.106), Main Campus
UTSA business students will learn more about their programs while enjoying food, fun and prizes.
Fraternity/Sorority Life Mix and Mingle
6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Student Union Retama Auditorium (SU 2.02.02), and Student Union Lawn
Student will learn about the Fraternity|Sorority Life community and make new Roadrunner friends. The Mix and Mingle will include refreshments and live entertainment.
Rowdy Rush Practice
8 p.m., UTSA Football Practice Field
Grab a friend to practice this UTSA Football game day tradition of rushing onto the field then forming a human tunnel for players and coaches to run through before kickoff of the first home game of the season set for Aug. 31 against Incarnate Word.
