Twenty-two UTSA student-athletes are set to earn their degrees following the fall semester and will be honored in upcoming virtual celebration.

The UTSA Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will hold a Student-Athlete Virtual Celebration for its 22 graduates at 1 p.m. Sunday, December 6, live on the UTSA Athletics Facebook page. This virtual celebration will feature messages from university and department leaders and head coaches. It will be available on-demand following the conclusion of the live ceremony. A Facebook account is not required to watch the live or on-demand broadcast.

UTSA will hold a Commencement Drive at 4:30 p.m. Friday, December 11, and a Virtual Commencement at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 12, for all graduating students.

“I have no doubt they will continue to represent UTSA in a positive light as they prepare to contribute to the world ahead of them.”

“This is a chance for the entire community to join us in celebrating our most recent graduates in this virtual celebration,” UTSA Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Lisa Campos said. “Each student-athlete has achieved this significant milestone because of their hard work, dedication and responsibility. I am so proud of what they have accomplished, and I have no doubt they will continue to represent UTSA in a positive light as they prepare to contribute to the world ahead of them.”
