The UTSA Football Fiesta Spring Game will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, at the Dub Farris Athletic Complex (8400 N Loop 1604 W). Admission and parking will be free for fans.
The game will mark the conclusion of the Roadrunners’ spring season of 15 workouts, which are scheduled to begin on Monday, March 7, at the Roadrunner Athletics Center of Excellence practice fields.
Under the direction of 2021 Conference USA Coach of the Year Jeff Traylor, UTSA is coming off the most successful season in the 11-year history of the program. The Roadrunners finished with a 12-2 record — the most wins and top winning percentage (.857) in school annals — and captured their first conference title with a 49-41 victory over Western Kentucky in the C-USA Championship Game. UTSA was nationally ranked — as high as No. 15 — for the first time and concluded the campaign with its second straight and third overall bowl appearance against San Diego State in the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl.
UTSA is set to kick off the 2022 season on September 3 when it hosts Houston at the Alamodome. Following back-to-back road dates with Army on September 10 and Texas on September 17, the Roadrunners will conclude the non-conference slate at home against Texas Southern on September 24.
Season tickets will go on sale soon. For more information, please call 210-458-UTSA (8872) or visit the UTSA Athletics website to complete the request form and a UTSA Athletics ticket staff representative will reach out to you.
