Path to doctoral degree for UT San Antonio student, graduating in December, was never predetermined but rather carved through inspiration and determination.

The department also plans to launch a hybrid-online master’s degree in Higher Education Administration program in Spring 2026.

A morning and an afternoon ceremony will be held to honor all graduates of the university’s academic colleges and Honors College.

Established in 2015, the Academy comprises 32 accomplished faculty members from across UT San Antonio who represent diverse disciplines.

Internal Funding Opportunities grants for faculty members are designed to fuel innovation and support interdisciplinary teams.

Conducted in San Antonio’s Edgewood Independent School District, the program offers digital literacy lessons that align with students’ needs.

This year’s recipients are Liliana Saldaña and Claudia Treviño García, who each integrate the university’s rare and unique archival collections in their courses..

The degree is designed to meet the demand for skilled professionals in counseling, educational psychology and applied behavioral analysis.
