APLU made the announcement Tuesday at its Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, where UT San Antonio was selected from a distinguished group of finalists.

The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges affirmed the verification of UT San Antonio's compliance with accreditation standards as a merged university.

During the first-ever Texas Free College Application Week, Oct. 13-19, UT San Antonio received 16,000 applications from prospective students.

Blanco Hall features a mix of single- and double-bed units plus lounges, laundry facilities and a laboratory kitchen.

The study supports these previous plans for continued growth at the UT San Antonio's Main Campus and downtown locations.  

On November 4, many measures on the ballot will impact constituents in Bexar County and across the state.
