UTSA winter break operating hours announced

(Dec. 19, 2017) — Over the winter break, all classes and many University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) business operations will be closed or operate on skeleton crew beginning Monday, Dec. 25, 2017 through Monday, Jan. 1, 2018.  Most university buildings will be locked during winter break unless otherwise noted on this schedule

UTSA will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018 with a few exceptions listed on the UTSA Campus Alerts website 

Alternate hours of operation for the following departments and activities will apply during winter break:

Housing & Residence Life

  • For assistance, notify on-call personnel per the contact information for your community.

Libraries

  • John Peace Library will be closed Dec. 24 – 26 & 30 – Jan. 1. 
  • Downtown Library will be closed Dec. 18 – Jan. 1

Recreation Center & Field Complex

  • Recreation Center will be closed Dec. – Jan. 1
  • Downtown Fitness Center will be closed Dec. 22 – Jan. 2
  • Rec Field Complex will be closed Dec. 22 – Jan. 2

University Center

  • Visit the website for hours of operations

Campus Services (Dining, Shuttles, UTSACard)

  • No UTSACard service – Dec. 25 – Jan. 1
  • No shuttle service – December 16 – January 7
  • Visit UTSA Campus Dish for dining hours of operation during winter break

Institute of Texan Cultures Museum

  • Closed Dec. 25
  • Closes at 3 p.m. on Dec. 31 
  • Closed Jan. 1

One-Stop Enrollment Center

  • Closed Dec. 25 – 26 and Jan. 1
  • Downtown Campus Office will be closed Dec. 24 – Jan. 1

Student Health Services

  • Clinic will be closed Dec. 25 – Jan. 1

Counseling Services

  • Crisis Helpline (On-Call Counselor for After Hours, Weekend, Holiday):  (210) 458-4140, *Select Option 3

Research Laboratories – Normal protocols apply unless otherwise communicated to staff/faculty.
