(March 22, 2019) – In an effort to foster student success, Roadrunners can explore academic options at March Into Your Major from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27 in the Convocation Center on the UTSA Main Campus. The event, hosted by the University Career Center, is open to all UTSA students.
March Into Your Major is designed to help students who may be unsure about their major, career path or future goals. This major exploration fair allows them to speak with representatives from the many different programs that UTSA offers.
The purpose of March Into Your Major is to help assist students in finding a major that aligns with their career goals. Students can also get information about experiential learning opportunities, academic programs and student services that enhance their learning experience at UTSA.
Nearly 900 UTSA students attended March Into Your Major in 2018. In the five years since its inception, the number of rising sophomores who have declared a major has increased from 17 percent to 66 percent.
This event will also feature prizes, including five $100 textbook vouchers.
Faculty and academic departments interested in participating can find out more information and register online or contact Abreetta Bonner.
