JANUARY 27, 2020 — Roadrunner Days, a series of events focused on engagement and student success, continue this week to welcome new and returning students for the spring 2020 semester. The newest Roadrunners can learn the campus environment and traditions, and returning students learn strategies for success in the new year.
Monday, Jan. 27
Roadrunner Days activities resume with two mixers. The First-Gen Mixer takes place in the Denman Ballroom (SU 2.01.28) from 1 to 3 p.m. and the Transfer Mixer takes place there from 4 to 6 p.m.

Start the day off with VIA Kick Off in the Bexar Room (HSU 1.102) of the HEB Student Union from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Game Week Wednesday takes place in the Central Plaza from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The COEHD Scavenger Hunt, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Main Building (MB 2.434.01), will give students the chance to learn about services and degree options from the College of Education and Human Development. In the evening Roadrunners are invited to the Denman Ballroom (SU 2.01.28) in the Student Union for a screening of the short film My Name Is Maria de Jesus, followed by a conversation with filmmaker Marcella Ochoa.
Thursday, Jan. 30
It’s the final day of the spring 2020 Roadrunner Days. The Get Involved Fair on Main Campus will be taking place in Sombrilla Plaza from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Students will have an opportunity to meet representatives from over 150 organizations, nonprofit partners and various UTSA departments. At 7 p.m. the men’s basketball team will be taking on the University of Alabama at Birmingham in the Convocation Center.
