Although overnight lows are expected to remain above freezing in the San Antonio area on Wednesday night, roadways remain slippery and icing is possible in some areas, particularly on overpasses and bridges. A winter storm warning remains in effect for Bexar and surrounding counties until 6 a.m. on Thursday.
Out of an abundance of caution, UTSA will continue to operate on a modified schedule and all classes, including in-person learning, will remain online until 10 a.m. Thursday.
The following schedule adjustments will be in effect for Thursday:
- Buildings will be opened at 9 a.m. for anyone arriving on campuses early.
- Campus shuttles will resume their regular schedules at 9 a.m.
- The One Stop Enrollment Center and the Center for Military Affiliated Students will be available virtually until 10 a.m. and will open in-person at 10 a.m.
- All library locations will open at 10 a.m.
- The Roadrunner Café will open at 8 a.m. Adjusted retail dining hours can be found at Campus Dish.
- The Student Union, Campus Recreation Center, Rowdy Campus Bookstore and Campus Store Downtown will open at 10 a.m.
- Wellness 360 will resume services at 10 a.m.
- Academic Advising will be closed for in-person services until 12 noon but will continue to assist students virtually. Please contact your assigned academic advisor if you have questions.
- The University Career Center will be working remotely until Thursday at 10 a.m. as per UTSA guidelines and will resume in-person operations at 10 a.m.
- UTSA Athletics activities will be conducted in person but are optional for student-athletes who do not wish to travel. Please advise your coaches. The RACE facility will open at 10 a.m.
- The Institute of Texan Cultures will open for visitors at 10 a.m.
Employees with essential job functions should report to work on-campus on their regular schedules. All other employees should continue to work remotely until 10 a.m. or as directed by your supervisor.
UTSA will continue to monitor conditions and provide additional information on campus operations and classes as needed.
