A new UTSA signature event comes with a long history of advancing art and culture in San Antonio. What began as a small fair in 1973 has grown into a major highlight of the annual Fiesta San Antonio celebration.

In partnership with the UTSA Alumni Association, the 48th Annual UTSA Fiesta Arts Fair will take place today and Sunday at the historic UTSA Southwest Campus. The university invites the San Antonio community to attend the two-day, family-friendly event that gathers approximately 12,000 annually and directly supports UTSA’s mission to advance the arts in San Antonio.

The art-focused fundraiser will provide operating support for UTSA Arts, which is dedicated to community arts education for children and adults, public-facing performances and exhibitions, and arts-based research and partnerships to enhance the accessibility of the arts for the public.

UTSA Arts includes the Young Artists Program, Teen Studio Intensive, Saturday Morning Discovery and adult community classes, which all take place at the UTSA Southwest Campus.

The vibrant event features contemporary art from more than 100 artists from across the U.S., Fiesta favorite foods, drinks, live music by local and regional performers and a Young Artists Garden, providing opportunities for budding artists to learn, explore and express their creativity.
