JUNE 6, 2025 — UTSA invites eligible students, faculty, staff and community members to stop by Main Campus, an official polling location, to vote tomorrow in the San Antonio runoff election.

The ballot features runoffs for the mayoral race and city council seats in Districts 1, 6, 8 and 9—races in which no candidate received more than 50% of the vote in the May 3 election.

Candidates in the June 7 runoff election include:

  • Mayor: Gina Ortiz Jones and Rolando Pablos
  • District 1: Sukh Kaur (incumbent) and Patty Gibbons
  • District 6: Kelly Ann Gonzalez and Ric Galvan
  • District 8: Ivalis Meza Gonzalez and Paula McGee
  • District 9: Misty Spears and Angi Taylor Aramburu

Any registered Bexar County voter may vote at the H-E-B Student Union Bexar Room (HSU 1.102). Free voter parking is available in the northern div of the Ximenes Ave. Lot, just south of the H-E-B Student Union.

The Downtown Campus community can vote early at the nearby Bexar County Elections Office, located at 1103 S. Frio St in San Antonio. Additional polling locations can be found on the Bexar County Elections Department website.

Voters will need to show a valid photo ID or secondary supporting ID.
