University releases Annual Security and Fire Safety Report

SEPTEMBER 30, 2021 — Editor’s note: The following message was sent via email today from Executive Director of Institutional Compliance and Risk Services James Weaver and Interim Chief of Police Stephanie Schoenborn to all students, faculty and staff:

Completed in accordance with the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, this report provides information on a variety of important security and fire safety topics:

  • Crime prevention and security awareness programs
  • Policies on law enforcement, drugs and alcohol, sex offender registration, and on-campus weapons
  • Fire reporting and statistics
  • Fire safety programs and systems
  • Fire prevention policies
