Due to sub-freezing temperatures and the likelihood of road closures due to ice accumulation, all UTSA classes including in-person teaching will remain in a remote online learning format on Friday, February 4, and Saturday, February 5. This includes labs and other in-person programs. There will be no in-person day or evening classes on Friday and Saturday.
For students living on campus, dining facilities will remain open. The Recreation Wellness Center will open at 10 a.m. Wellness 360 will be available for virtual appointments.
UTSA Libraries and the Student Union will operate virtually Friday and Saturday, and their staffs should plan to work remotely on both days.
Campus shuttles will not be operating. Transportation employees should plan to work remotely on Friday.
Employees with essential job functions should report to work on-campus as directed by their supervisors. All other employees will shift to remote operations. Contact your supervisor if you have questions.
The Livingston Labs location on the Main Campus will remain closed. Its Sonterra location will be open on Friday and Saturday.
The UTSA Women’s Basketball game scheduled for Thursday night is postponed.
San Antonio is expected to see bitter cold conditions through Saturday night and Sunday morning. UTSA will continue to monitor conditions and provide additional information on campus operations and classes as needed.
